Ember Rest ("we", "us") operates the Ember Rest YouTube channel and Pinterest profile, publishing sleep, rain and ambient soundscape content. This policy explains how we handle data in connection with our presence on these platforms and our automated content-publishing tools.

Our internal application connects to our own Pinterest business account through the official Pinterest API. It is used solely to publish and schedule our own Pins (sleep/ambient thumbnails) that link back to our own YouTube videos. The application does not create experiences for, or act on behalf of, other Pinterest users.
We do not collect, store, sell or share personal data of visitors, viewers or other users through this application. The application processes only the access tokens for our own Pinterest account and the content (images, titles, descriptions, links) that we publish ourselves. Access tokens are stored privately and are never shared with third parties.
When you interact with our content on YouTube or Pinterest, those platforms collect data under their own privacy policies. We may view aggregated, anonymised analytics those platforms provide (e.g. impressions, views, watch time) to improve our content. We cannot identify individual viewers from this data. Some of our descriptions contain Amazon affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Clicking such links may set cookies governed by Amazon's own privacy policy.
Our use of the Pinterest API complies with the Pinterest Developer Guidelines and the Pinterest Privacy Policy. Our use of YouTube data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy.
Access tokens and publishing queues are kept only as long as needed to operate the publishing tool and are stored on private, access-restricted systems.
Because we do not hold personal data about you through this application, there is typically nothing to access or delete. If you believe we hold data about you, contact us at the address above and we will respond promptly.
